Grand Hyatt Fukuoka will offer its “Autumn Mont Blanc Afternoon Tea,” featuring seasonal autumn flavors, from September 1 through October 31.
September will feature a white-themed presentation, while October will be centered on black, with the welcome drink, scones, and some sweets changing each month. The menu includes a tasting of three types of Mont Blanc made with Japanese chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture, French chestnuts, and pistachios; chestnut and passion fruit cake; mille-feuille with roasted eggplant and persimmon sandwiched between chestnut toast; Japanese chestnut French toast in a mitarashi-style glaze; and other sweets and savory items featuring chestnuts, persimmons, and pumpkin. A premium plan is also available, including one glass of Champagne and sustainable lobster cream pasta.
The afternoon tea will be served at the Bar Lounge “Bar Fizz.” Seatings are available for two hours from 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., and for three hours from 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The evening service includes a music charge. Prices are 6,000 yen, or 8,800 yen for the premium plan. Tax included; service charge not included.
