London Stansted Airport Selects Farrans for SkyLink Construction
Narita International Airport established the “Narita Airport Second Opening Project Promotion Headquarters” effective August 26.
The company will advance the “Narita Airport Second Opening Project” on a company-wide basis. The project consists of extending Runway B, constructing a new Runway C, and reorganizing passenger and cargo handling facilities. The existing “Headquarters for Promoting Further Functional Enhancement of Narita International Airport” was reorganized following the Japanese government’s indication of its policy direction for the reorganization of passenger and cargo handling facilities.
President Naoki Fujii will serve as head of the headquarters, while Executive Vice President Yasuhiko Tamaki will serve as deputy head. Directors and executive officers will serve as headquarters members and coordinate the overall project, including efforts to advance runway development and examine specific plans for facility reorganization.
