
Marriott International Signs Agreement to Open Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Shanghai
Strings Hotel Tokyo InterContinental is offering its “Mango Chinese Afternoon Tea” and “Mango Parfait & Savory” from July 8 through September 30.
In collaboration with “MANGO WONDER,” a liqueur made with apple mangoes, the menu features eight types of sweets, including a mango pomelo sago tart, coconut milk pudding, and mango crepes. Six savory items are also available, including shrimp with mango mayonnaise, a Japanese Black Wagyu sirloin Chinese burger, and mango tart gratin.
The “Mango Parfait & Savory” pairs a parfait layered with sesame balls filled with mango paste, lychee sorbet, mango pudding, and more with three savory items, such as a Chinese burger and shrimp wrapped in kadaif, along with one drink of the guest’s choice.
The offerings are available at the Chinese restaurant China Shadow. Afternoon tea is served from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., evening high tea from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Mango Parfait & Savory from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mango Parfait & Savory is limited to 10 guests per day and requires reservations by 5 p.m. the previous day. Prices are 7,700 yen for the Chinese Afternoon Tea, 8,800 yen for the Chinese Evening High Tea, and 4,180 yen for the Mango Parfait & Savory. All prices include tax and exclude a 15% service charge.
