Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba Holds Hokkaido Fair
Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU is operating the TOMAMU Fami Fami Bus, a bus service exclusively for families with children, from July 1 through October 31.
The service connects Sapporo and New Chitose Airport with Tomamu The Tower and Risonare Tomamu in Hokkaido, and is available to guests staying at either hotel. The bus has 26 non-reserved seats, and reservations are accepted through a dedicated website.
The bus is equipped with diapers, wet wipes, drinking water, and a restroom. Passengers are given a “Window Bingo” game to spot traffic lights, signs, animals, and more from the bus windows. They can also enjoy taking commemorative photos using augmented reality frames depicting Tomamu’s forests and animals on their smartphones.
Adult fares are 7,000 yen between Sapporo and Tomamu, and 6,000 yen between New Chitose Airport and Tomamu. Up to five children aged 11 and under may travel free of charge per adult.
A monitor campaign offering free round-trip fares for one group per day is also being held. Applicants can enter by following the official account, reacting to the designated post, and completing the application form. One-way trips are also eligible.
