Greens completed the renovation of Center One Hotel Handa on June 24.
The guest room floors and elevator halls feature designs inspired by the landscapes of red spider lilies said to have been seen by Nankichi Niimi, a writer from Handa. The design also incorporates Handa Red Brick Building, the city’s brewing culture, and canal scenery.
The lobby layout was redesigned, with new counter seating available for work. A bulletin board introducing sightseeing information and local culture in Handa has also been installed. The hotel is entirely non-smoking, with a smoking booth located on the first floor.
Since July 16, breakfast has included such local dishes as “Gon Inari,” kishimen flat noodles, and ochazuke with beef shigureni. “Gon Inari,” made with eel, features inari sushi arranged upright in a sushi tub to resemble fox ears.
