Livemax rebranded and opened Livemax Resort Tsukubasan Onsen on August 25.
The property is located halfway up Mount Tsukuba and offers panoramic views of the Kanto Plain. Guests can also enjoy views of the Kanto Plain through the large windows in their rooms. The property features the Livemax Tsukubasan Onsen hot spring building, complete with an open-air bath, large public bath, löyly sauna, and cold-water bath. Meals include kaiseki cuisine prepared with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Access is approximately a 5-minute walk from the Tsukubasan Shrine Entrance bus stop, approximately 35 minutes by car from the Tsuchiura-kita Interchange (IC) on the Joban Expressway, and approximately 45 minutes by car from the Sakuragawa-Chikusei Interchange (IC) on the Kita-Kanto Expressway.
