United Airlines to Launch Naha–San Francisco Route on March 27, 2027
Parata Air plans to launch a Seoul/Incheon–Los Angeles route as early as the fourth quarter of this year.
The airline has obtained operational approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation and South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It will next seek approval from the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Preparations are underway for ticket sales, and the detailed flight schedule is expected to be announced after these procedures are completed.
Parata Air was formerly Fly Gangwon. Following the suspension of operations and bankruptcy in 2023, it was acquired and renamed by Winix. The airline began operations in September 2025 and currently has a fleet of five Airbus A330 and Airbus A320 aircraft.
