ANA Announces This Week’s Toku-tabi Mile Routes for September 9–15
Funds will offer a new fund, “JAL Mileage Fund #3,” through its investment management service, Funds, with Japan Airlines (JAL) participating as a company.
Funds will lend the raised capital to Funds Marketing, which will subsequently support JAL’s advertising activities.
The fundraising target is ¥200 million. The expected annual yield is 1%, and the planned investment period is approximately three months. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from September 1 through 3:00 p.m. on September 9. The maximum investment is ¥200,000 per person.
In addition, investors will receive 100 miles for investments of ¥100,000 or more in the “JAL Mileage Fund,” and 1,500 miles for investments of ¥1 million or more in other funds.
Funds is a service that enables individuals in Japan to indirectly lend money to listed companies and other businesses and earn fixed-rate investment returns. While distributions may not be made if a borrowing company becomes unable to make payments, the company says there have been no delayed distributions or loan defaults. Some funds also offer special benefits.
