Korean Air has finalized its operating plan for Japan routes for the winter schedule, running from October 25 to March 27, 2027.
Following its integration with Asiana Airlines on December 17, the number of airports served in Japan will increase from 15 to 19, with 412 weekly round trips operated—an average of around 58 round trips per day. This is approximately 1.7 times the level of the summer schedule.
The Hiroshima–Seoul/Incheon route will be launched on December 23, with one daily round trip. Service on the Oita–Seoul/Incheon route will resume for the first time in approximately two and a half years, operating four weekly round trips. The Sendai–Seoul/Incheon and Miyazaki–Seoul/Incheon routes will begin operating as Korean Air services, with one daily round trip on each route.
Weekly frequencies on major routes will increase as follows: Osaka/Kansai–Seoul/Incheon from 28 to 63 round trips; Tokyo/Narita–Seoul/Incheon from 35 to 56; Tokyo/Haneda–Seoul/Gimpo from 21 to 42; Fukuoka–Seoul/Incheon from 28 to 33; Osaka/Kansai–Seoul/Gimpo and Nagoya/Chubu–Seoul/Incheon from 14 to 28; Sapporo/Chitose–Seoul/Incheon and Kobe–Seoul/Incheon from 14 to 21; and Tokyo/Haneda–Seoul/Incheon and Okinawa/Naha–Seoul/Incheon from 7 to 14.
There will be no changes to the Tokyo/Narita–Busan route, which will operate 14 weekly round trips, or the Nagoya/Chubu–Busan route, which will operate 7 weekly round trips.
