UK Air Traffic Control Disruption Causes Widespread Flight Cancellations
Japan’s Transport Council has begun deliberations on an application by Japan Transocean Air (JTA) for permission to operate flights at Itami Airport.
Article 107-3, Paragraph 1 of Japan’s Civil Aeronautics Act stipulates that Japanese airlines intending to operate domestic scheduled air transport services using congested airports must obtain permission from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for operations at each airport.
If an interested party requests a public hearing, the Transport Council plans to hold one before conducting deliberations and submitting its recommendations.
