
JAL Offers Special Fares to Honolulu and Hawaii Neighbor Islands
Amakusa Airlines will introduce the “Amakusa Stay Support Fare.”
The fare is intended to support the recovery of tourism in the Amakusa region of Kumamoto Prefecture, which was affected by the Kumamoto earthquakes. It is available to people living outside Amakusa Island who stay at accommodations in Amakusa City, Kamiamakusa City, or Reihoku Town. Amakusa residents are not eligible. A total of 500 seats will be sold, with a limit on the number of seats available per flight.
One-way fares are as follows, with the same fares applying to children. Tickets will be sold from two months to three days before the intended travel date, for travel from September 11 through March 19, 2027. The blackout period is from December 26 through January 5, 2027. To purchase tickets, customers must complete an application form and call the airline’s reservation center.
