ANA Holdings Announces Name and Brand for Integrated Cargo Company
Asiana Airlines will launch its “Starlink In-Flight Wi-Fi Service,” powered by Starlink, SpaceX’s low-Earth-orbit satellite communications service, on September 15.
The service will be offered free of charge on selected long-haul routes operated by nine Airbus A350-900 aircraft and one Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The airline plans to gradually expand the service to other aircraft in its fleet.
Passengers will be able to use the service on their personal smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers from boarding until the aircraft comes to a complete stop at the arrival airport. The service supports video streaming, messaging, and online gaming, while voice and video calls are prohibited. The use of power banks and charging devices during use is not permitted.
