
Cathay Pacific Opens 80th Anniversary Pop-Up Store at LaLaport Toyosu
Skytrax, an aviation research company, announced the “World Airline Awards 2026” at The Langham hotel in London.
Singapore Airlines took the top spot, rising from second place last year to win the award for the sixth time. It also ranked first in the Economy Class and Economy Class Catering categories.
Qatar Airways placed second, falling from the top position it had held for two consecutive years. Cathay Pacific Airways ranked third, unchanged from last year, while All Nippon Airways (ANA) moved up one place to fourth, overtaking Emirates. Japan Airlines (JAL) remained ninth, the same as last year. The top 10 lineup was unchanged.
The survey was conducted from September 2025 through August this year, targeting more than 24.8 million travelers worldwide. More than 300 airlines were evaluated. More than 70 awards were announced at the ceremony.
