
Japan Airport Terminal and SJOY to Develop Pocket Tips Automated Clothing Compression Service
Michelin has announced its “Michelin Key Hotel Selection 2026.” The number of properties listed in Japan has reached 145, with 19 newly selected.
The selection comprises seven Three-Michelin-Key hotels, 23 Two-Michelin-Key hotels, and 115 One-Michelin-Key hotels. In addition, 253 Selected Hotels are featured.
The seven Three-Michelin-Key hotels are Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, Palace Hotel Tokyo, Gora Kadan, Asaba, Amanemu, and Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto. All retained their ratings.
Gora Kadan Fuji and Capella Kyoto were newly added to the Two-Michelin-Key category. Yoan Nishitomiya was upgraded from One Michelin Key to Two Michelin Keys.
Seventeen properties were newly added to the One-Michelin-Key category: HOTEL Hakurin Hakodate, AZUMA FARM Koiwai, Park Hyatt Tokyo, FUFU Tokyo Ginza, JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo, 1 Hotel Tokyo, Casa CABaN HAYAMA, Tsuruko, Tobira Onsen Myojinkan, THE HIRAMATSU HOTELS & RESORTS Atami, Hacienda VISON Hotel, Imperial Hotel Kyoto, Waldorf Astoria Osaka, Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara, HOSHINOYA Taketomi Island, Jivana Miyako Island, and HOSHINOYA Okinawa.
Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide, commented, “This year, 470 properties have newly received Michelin Key distinctions, demonstrating that increasingly creative and refined accommodation experiences are emerging around the world.”
