Fukuoka Prince Hotel Momochihama is offering its first-ever “Autumn Afternoon Tea Set: Sweet Delights and Rich Aromas” from September 1 through November 30.
Centered on a Mont Blanc made with chestnut paste from Kumamoto Prefecture, the set includes chestnut burr-shaped cream puffs, canelé-style cassis mousse, tea mousse served in a glass, two varieties of scones, opera cake, and Amaou strawberry macarons. Savory items include a mini premium burger on a bamboo charcoal bun, smoked salmon canapés, and Gorgonzola quiche.
In addition to coffee, beverages include Japanese black tea from Nakamuraen in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture, lemongrass, and German chamomile. A glass of white or rosé sparkling wine can be added for 500 yen.
Limited to 10 groups per day, the set is available for parties of one or more and requires reservations by 5:00 p.m. on the previous day. A Halloween version will be offered from October 25 to 31. It is served at the fourth-floor restaurant, “YOCATERRACE,” from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last seating at 4:30 p.m. The price is 4,800 yen, including tax and service charge.
