Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will open a new flagship lounge at Copenhagen Airport in June 2027.
The lounge will be located on the fourth floor of Terminal 3 and will cover an area of 3,700 square meters, approximately 40% larger than the current lounge. It is designed to accommodate up to 4,000 guests per day and will offer 1,095 seats, including areas for rest. The lounge will provide panoramic views of the runways.
The lounge will be divided into dining, social, family, focus, relax, silent relax, and sleep zones. It will also feature a new dedicated “Exclusive Zone” for top-tier members, 24 private work pods, and private rooms for resting. Digital crowd monitoring will be used to manage guest flow.
Food and beverage facilities will include a dedicated bar serving signature cocktails, barista-made coffee, and a bakery offering freshly baked pastries and snacks. The menu will combine Scandinavian and international elements and will vary by time of day.
Shower and restroom facilities will also be expanded. The lounge will incorporate abundant natural light and high ceilings. Its interior will use natural materials in a Scandinavian design, while recycled fabrics and some furniture from the former SAS Lounge Copenhagen will be reused.
