Air France opened a new lounge at Frankfurt Airport on September 1.
The lounge covers approximately 500 square meters and offers around 120 seats. It provides panoramic views of the airport’s runways, while its interior features Air France’s logo, its historic winged seahorse symbol, and vintage posters. Based on Air France’s signature colors of blue, white, and red, the lounge incorporates French design furniture by Pierre Paulin, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, and others. It was designed in collaboration with MARKS Brandimage.
The dining area has around 50 seats and is designed as an open space with a kitchen that blends naturally into the setting. The menu focuses on French cuisine, offering both sweet and savory dishes depending on the time of day, as well as vegetarian options. Beverages include French wines, Champagne, and locally brewed beer. Priority is given to locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, with efforts also made to reduce food waste and sort and recycle waste.
A dedicated area with cocoon-style seating is available for Flying Blue Ultimate members.
Other facilities include a quiet relaxation area and a work area equipped with soundproof booths. Automated eligibility-verification kiosks are installed at the entrance, and the lounge offers TV screens, complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets, and USB ports. Digital newspapers and magazines from France and overseas are available through the “Air France Press” app.
Located in Terminal 3, the lounge is operated jointly with Global Lounge Network. It is open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Eligible guests include Air France Business Class passengers, excluding those on Business Light fares, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and eligible passengers traveling with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and other SkyTeam member airlines.
This summer, Air France is operating up to five daily round trips between Frankfurt and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
