AIRDO will add a feature to its My AIRDO online member service on September 29 that enables members to complete applications for official certificates required to use various discounted fares.
By completing the procedure in advance, members will no longer need to visit an airport counter. After logging in to My AIRDO, members can upload and register an image of their certificate from the application page in My Page. Please note that registration may take some time to complete.
The eligible fares are the DO Youth 25 fare for members aged 12 to 25, the DO Senior 65 fare for members aged 65 and over, the Hokkaido Resident Discount Fare for Hokkaido-resident members, and the Disability Discount for holders of eligible disability certificates and their caregivers.
Members will also be able to apply in the same way to register a family group required for Family Mile, which allows family members to pool and use miles. The primary member must be a My AIRDO member who holds an AIRDO Card, and the family group must consist of relatives within the second degree of kinship.
