NearMe has launched an event-focused booking website as of September 3.
Users can reserve taxis in advance connecting venues for live concerts and sporting events with transportation hubs such as railway stations. The entire process, from booking to payment, is completed online. If ride-sharing is arranged with users traveling in the same direction at the same time, fares are discounted by up to 50%. The service is also available for individual riders.
Reservations are accepted up to 365 days before the intended date of use. Dispatch details are provided when the reservation is confirmed, and fares will not change due to road conditions.
