British Airways will increase seat capacity on its Central and South America routes by 25% for the summer 2027 schedule.
It will expand its London Heathrow–Buenos Aires service to daily round trips and extend the route to Santiago. Boeing 777 aircraft, featuring the Club Suite business class, will be used.
In addition, the London Heathrow–Rio de Janeiro route will no longer serve Buenos Aires. The London Heathrow–San José route will be operated year-round, with three weekly round trips on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The airline will also increase the number of flights to Cape Town and Las Vegas. From May 2027, it will launch new services to Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.
