Lufthansa German Airlines will resume operations on its Tokyo/Narita–Frankfurt route from March 28, 2027.
As a seasonal summer service, the airline will operate one daily round trip. The route will be served by Boeing 787-9 aircraft featuring the latest “Allegris” cabin, with 28 business class seats, 28 premium economy class seats, and 231 economy class seats. Flight time will be 14 hours and 20 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 12 hours and 45 minutes from Frankfurt.
The route has been suspended since January 2017 as part of supply-and-demand adjustments.
