Lufthansa will resume service on its Nagoya/Chubu–Frankfurt route from March 29, 2027.
The airline will operate three weekly round trips, departing Nagoya/Chubu on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and Frankfurt on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The route will be served by a Boeing 787-9 aircraft featuring the latest Allegris cabin, with 28 business class seats, 28 premium economy class seats, and 231 economy class seats. Flight time will be 14 hours from Nagoya/Chubu and 12 hours 25 minutes from Frankfurt.
Service on the route had remained suspended since March 12, 2020, when the spread of COVID-19 infections intensified.
