Route Inn Japan resumed operations at the main building of Hotel Route-Inn Wajima on September 18.
Only the main building had suspended operations after it sustained a tilt due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that struck on January 1, 2024. Together with the East Building -Wakura-, which has remained in operation since immediately after the disaster, the hotel has now fully reopened all 222 rooms. The restoration work used a method that returned the building to its original condition without demolishing it, and the interiors were also renovated.
