Iconia Hospitality began operating two hotels, Kanazawa New Grand Hotel Prestige and Kanazawa New Grand Hotel Premier, on October 1.
Kanazawa New Grand Hotel Prestige is a full-service hotel located directly in front of Oyama Shrine. It offers a variety of room types, from single and twin rooms to rooms suitable for families. Guest rooms feature Yamanaka lacquerware hand mirrors and tea caddies, as well as Kutani ware cups and plates. Some rooms also incorporate artwork featuring “Kaga Kebari,” traditional artificial fishing flies made in Kanazawa City for ayu fishing. Throughout the hotel, Japanese design elements evoke the atmosphere of Kanazawa. Facilities include a sky dining venue overlooking the cityscape, a restaurant serving Chinese cuisine, a bar, a lounge themed around the “kirei-sabi” aesthetic of Kobori Enshu, banquet halls, meeting rooms, and wedding facilities.
Kanazawa New Grand Hotel Premier is adjacent to the Prestige property. It offers a wide range of room types, including single, double, and twin rooms, as well as rooms for multiple guests and Corner Deluxe Twin rooms. The hotel’s buffet restaurant, Polo, serves breakfast featuring ingredients from Ishikawa Prefecture.
The hotels are approximately 15 minutes by car from the Kanazawa Higashi and Kanazawa Nishi interchanges (ICs), and about 5 minutes by car from Kanazawa Station on JR’s Hokuriku Line.
