Hilton Tokyo Offers Meat-Centric Afternoon Tea “Classic American Diner”
Shinagawa Prince Hotel will offer “Warm Anko Delights at the Kotatsu” from November 1 through January 10, 2027.
This is the third installment of its Japanese-style afternoon tea supervised by the Japan Anko Association. It features seven varieties of sweet bean paste inspired by post towns along the historic Tokaido route: Nihonbashi chocolate anko, Shinagawa yuzu anko, Odawara plum anko, Fujikawa purple sweet potato anko, Kuwana black sesame anko, Kameyama matcha anko, and Sanjo cherry blossom anko.
Sweets include red-and-white mochi zenzai, dorayaki pancake skins, tea pudding, anko chocolate terrine, and the Tokaido 53 Stations special ohagi tempura. Savory offerings include simmered conger eel nigiri sushi, fried kamaboko-and-anko sandwiches, baked clams with cream, and chilled soba noodles with smooth sweet red bean paste.
The event will be held at Ajikaido Gojusantsugi, a Japanese restaurant on the 38th floor of the Main Tower. The price is 7,000 yen. An upgraded option with anko fondue costs 8,500 yen, while a special kotatsu table seat, limited to two groups per day, is available for an additional 500 yen. All prices include tax; a 13% service charge applies separately.
