H.I.S. (HIS) will resume sales of the “Kyushu Reconstruction Support Discount” travel assistance program from noon on October 21.
Only eligible tour packages that include both airfare and accommodation will be available, and customers will need to enter a coupon code. All seven prefectures in Kyushu are covered, with sales resuming for inventory made available through cancellations.
The Kyushu Reconstruction Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products of one night or more in the Kyushu region, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. In Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a particularly significant impact on tourism, the discount is 60%. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per night for accommodation-only products and transportation-inclusive accommodation packages; 30,000 yen for transportation-inclusive accommodation packages of two nights or more; and 35,000 yen for multi-prefecture touring travel products covering accommodations in two or more prefectures.
