Trip.com will begin selling the Kyushu Recovery Support Discount travel program for Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures in Japan from 1 p.m. on October 22.
The offer applies to accommodation-only bookings. The eligible stay period is from October 22 through December 25 in Kumamoto Prefecture, and from October 22 through February 28, 2027 (check-out the following day), in Kagoshima Prefecture.
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products in the Kyushu region involving stays of one night or more, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a significant impact on tourism, offer a 60% discount. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per night for accommodation-only products and accommodation travel products with transportation; 30,000 yen for transportation-inclusive accommodation travel products of two nights or more; and 35,000 yen for multi-prefecture tour products covering accommodations in two or more prefectures.
