JALPAK Launches Limited-Time Sale for Overseas Dynamic Packages
Expedia Group has announced “Autonomous Onboarding,” a system that allows accommodation providers to join Expedia Group’s travel sites while continuing to use their existing site controllers.
The system was jointly developed with five site controller providers—HotelRunner, Yanolja Cloud Solutions, RoomCloud, RateGain, and Eviivo—as pilot providers.
With just a few clicks, accommodation providers can select Expedia Group as a sales channel and agree to the terms and conditions, enabling them to begin listing within 24 hours. No separate property registration or duplicate data entry is required.
Settings that previously required manual work are completed automatically once the systems are connected. The system accesses the accommodation provider’s site controller and transfers information including room types, rates and rate plans, photos, amenities and services, payment settings, and availability.
Accommodation providers that begin listing can reach travelers through Expedia Group’s multiple consumer brands, as well as its B2B distribution network comprising more than 75,000 partners and over 200,000 travel advisors, and newly introduced AI-powered travel partnerships. Expedia Group’s brand sites receive more than 1 billion searches per month on average, while accommodation bookings in 2025 exceeded 415 million room nights.
Chris Hodges, Vice President of Global Connectivity & Partner Solutions at Expedia Group, commented, “Capturing new demand should not increase the burden on our partners.” He added, “Autonomous Onboarding is the first step in our ‘Autonomous Distribution’ vision, which is designed to reduce the time partners spend on manual tasks and allow them to focus on their core business.”
Starting with property registration, “Autonomous Distribution” is a vision to further simplify the entire sales lifecycle in the future and expand its scope to include partners’ management and optimization of their businesses.
