JR West will operate a special Yakumo limited express as an overnight train for the first time.
The service will operate on January 2, 2027. Designated Yakumo No. 92, it will depart Izumoshi Station at 9:26 p.m. and arrive at Okayama Station at 5:30 a.m. the following day. It will stop at Matsue and Yonago stations en route. No onboard sales will be available.
The train will use 273 series rolling stock, equipped with security cameras, air purifiers, power outlets, and Wi-Fi.
