Expedia Group Launches Autonomous Onboarding for Accommodation Partners
Club Tourism has updated its response to the situation in the Middle East.
It has suspended the sale and operation of tours to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Oman, for which Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued travel advisories at Level 2 or Level 3.
The company has already announced that it will resume operating tours to destinations outside the Middle East that transit through Dubai, Doha, or Abu Dhabi and are accompanied by a tour conductor throughout the entire itinerary, beginning December 2.
Initially, it stated that the operation of tours would be conditional on travel advisories being lowered to Level 1 for tours with destinations in the respective countries or regions. For tours using those countries or regions as transit points, the conditions were that travel advisories be at Level 2 or below, that travel services could be provided safely and smoothly, and that the minimum number of participants had been reached.
