DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort will offer its lunch and sweets buffet, “The Princess in the Silver Tower: Memories of Golden Hair,” on weekends, public holidays, and Mondays from September 19 through January 11, 2027.
Inspired by the original Grimm fairy tale of “Rapunzel,” the buffet features 13 sweets and 8 savory items. Highlights include “Memories of Golden Hair: A Wine-Red Dress for Departure,” inspired by a princess wearing long, gleaming golden hair and a wine-red dress as she sets out into a new world; “The Forbidden Window: A Princess Confined in a High Tower,” expressing the wistful feelings of a princess spending her days by the window of a secluded tower while longing for the outside world; “Obsession with Eternal Youth: Blackberry and Thorn Caramel Ganache,” depicting the ominous nature of a witch obsessed with youth and roses blooming mysteriously among thorns; and “Hidden Passion: Rouge Velvet Financier,” combining passionate colors with the princess’s longing for the world beyond the tower. Coffee and tea will also be served.
The buffet will be held at the second-floor restaurant, MaTiira. Service is available from noon to 2:30 p.m. Prices are 4,600 yen for adults and 1,800 yen for children aged 6 to 12, including tax and service charge.
