Amakusa Airlines will offer its “Santa Costume Discount” from December 1 through 25.
Fares will be discounted for passengers who wear a Santa hat and a full Santa suit, or a Santa dress, from check-in until they exit through the arrivals gate at their destination airport. The offer applies to all routes, with a limited number of seats available on each flight.
The discount cannot be used if the Santa costume is concealed by a winter coat or similar outerwear. An additional charge may be imposed if the costume is removed after check-in.
One-way fares are 3,800 yen on the Amakusa–Fukuoka and Amakusa–Kumamoto routes, and 12,800 yen on the Amakusa–Kumamoto–Osaka/Itami route. No discount is available for travel only between Osaka/Itami and Kumamoto.
Reservations will be accepted through a dedicated application form from 9 a.m. on November 1 until three days before the intended travel date. Costumes will be checked at check-in, and fares must be paid by cash or credit card.
