Kinki Nippon Tourist will resume sales of the Fukuoka and Kagoshima prefecture offers under the “Kyushu Recovery Support Discount” travel support program at 2:00 p.m. on October 29.
Both tour packages and accommodation-only bookings are eligible. The travel period begins on October 1 and runs through December 15 for Fukuoka Prefecture and through January 31, 2027 (checkout the following day) for Kagoshima Prefecture.
The Kyushu Recovery Support Discount applies to travel and accommodation products involving at least one overnight stay in the Kyushu region, offering a 50% discount on travel and accommodation costs. Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, where cancellations have had a particularly significant impact on tourism, offer a 60% discount. The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per night for accommodation-only products and transportation-inclusive accommodation travel products; 30,000 yen for transportation-inclusive accommodation travel products of two or more nights; and 35,000 yen for multi-destination travel products staying in two or more prefectures. Day trips, day-use stays, business trips funded with public expenses, business travel, and plans including highly convertible gift certificates are not eligible.
