Nest Hotel Japan reopened “THE NEST ISHIGAKI” under its new brand on November 1.
Formerly Okinawa Kariyushi Resort EXES Ishigaki, the property is a four-story building. With the concept of “just the right hotel,” it is the second property under the “THE NEST” brand.
The hotel offers 54 rooms across eight types, including Deluxe Twins, Japanese Twins, Royal Suites, Game Rooms, and Welcome Baby Rooms. Facilities include a restaurant, swimming pool, and sauna. The restaurant serves dishes featuring the abundant ingredients of Ishigaki Island and other parts of Okinawa.
Activities include harvesting sugarcane and island bananas at the on-site farm, harvesting and distilling Okinawan getto shell ginger, and painting shisa lion-dog figurines. Sugarcane and island banana harvesting at the farm is scheduled to begin around May 2027, while the other experiences are planned to start in November.
The hotel is a 10-minute drive from New Ishigaki Airport (Painushima Ishigaki Airport).
