JR East’s Narita Express to Be Partially Suspended
JR East has announced that it will move up the resumption of services between Anegasaki and Nagaura stations on the Uchibo Line, which have been suspended due to the effects of Typhoon No. 25, to around noon on November 8.
On November 8, services between Anegasaki and Kisarazu stations will be suspended until around noon to remove temporary turnaround facilities installed at Nagaura Station and conduct safety checks ahead of the service resumption. Replacement bus services currently operating between Anegasaki and Nagaura stations will also run on the same day, but will not operate between Nagaura and Kisarazu stations. After services resume, some trains will remain canceled until around the evening. Share-cycle services operating between Anegasaki and Nagaura stations will be available on the same day.
From November 9 onward, the Uchibo Line and Sotobo Line will operate with their normal number of services, and all Limited Express Sazanami trains will also resume operation. Replacement bus services between Anegasaki and Nagaura stations are scheduled to end when train services resume.
