Polaris Holdings to Rebrand Six Best Western Hotels in Japan as KOKO HOTELS
Marriott International has opened a Marriott Bonvoy Lounge at Sanya Phoenix International Airport in Sanya, Hainan, China.
The interior features a resort-inspired design incorporating local elements such as palm groves and sea breezes. The main art wall combines Marriott’s brand presence in Sanya with a map of Hainan Island. The lounge uses light wood tones as its base, accented with sky blue representing waves and coral pink.
The lounge offers light refreshments and beverages, including nuts, biscuits, coffee, and tea, as well as information on transportation and sightseeing routes in Hainan. It also provides free high-speed Wi-Fi and printing and copying services.
In addition, Marriott has partnered with Chinese EV brand ZEEKR to provide airport transfers and transportation services between the airport and coastal areas. The service uses the ZEEKR 009 MPV and is available at 26 hotels across Hainan.
To use the lounge, guests must present proof of boarding for an arriving flight on the same day and hold a valid reservation at one of 19 participating hotels in Hainan. The lounge is located in the Terminal 3 arrivals lobby.
Marriott currently operates 28 hotels across 13 brands in Hainan Province. Of these, 19 are located in Sanya and the surrounding areas of Wanning and Lingshui, including key destinations such as Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay.
