APA Hotel will open APA Hotel Stay Sendai Hirose-dori Ekimae in the summer of 2028.
The hotel will offer 318 guest rooms. Rooms will feature large LCD televisions of 50 inches or more, complimentary Wi-Fi, and original beds. Water-saving bathtubs will also be installed in all but some rooms.
The property will include a large public bath with indoor and open-air baths, a dry sauna with automatic löyly, and a cold-water bath. Other facilities will include a relaxation space with reclining chairs, massage chairs, and complimentary manga; an exclusive guest lounge offering self-service alcoholic and soft drinks as well as light meals; and a fitness room. A complimentary breakfast buffet incorporating local ingredients will be provided.
The development plan was announced in April 2025. At the time, the hotel was expected to open in December 2028 under the name APA Hotel Sendai Hirose-dori Ekimae. The number of guest rooms has been reduced from 343.
APA Hotel Stay is a stay-oriented resort brand launched in 2024. It offers all-inclusive services, complimentary breakfast, and authentic saunas. Its two existing properties in Toyama and Komatsu Grand were rebranded hotels, making this the brand’s first newly built property.
The hotel is a one-minute walk from Hirose-dori Station and a six-minute walk from Sendai Station.
