Qatar Airways has unveiled new onboard music, created in collaboration with composer Hans Zimmer and inspired by Qatar and its culture.
The music is also featured on “Burgundy Symphony,” an album that expresses Qatar Airways’ sound identity. It comprises five tracks representing different stages of a journey: “Dawn,” which conveys the anticipation of leaving everyday life behind and discovering new horizons; “Dusk,” which reflects the tranquility of flying above the clouds as the sun sets and passengers are carried beneath a starry sky; “The Orchard,” inspired by ORCHARD, a facility at Hamad International Airport; “Homecoming,” which portrays how returning home and traveling enrich life; and “An Ode to Qatar,” which celebrates Qatar’s history, culture, and vision for the future.
The announcement was made at Hans Zimmer’s concert in Doha on November 6. At the venue, a video introducing the creative process and inspiration behind the music was shown, and the tracks were previewed in advance.
