Tokyo Midtown Hosts ‘MIDTOWN BLOSSOM 2025’ Until April 13
Fauchon Hotel Kyoto is offering an afternoon tea in collaboration with photographer and film director Mika Ninagawa from July 1 to August 31.
The two-tier circular stand features photographs of flowers and plants taken by Mika Ninagawa, atop which Fauchon Hotel Kyoto’s chefs have crafted a menu inspired by her works. The sweets include parfaits finished with jasmine tea jelly, utilizing seasonal peaches or grapes, depending on the time. Savory items also include a “Blini with Fauchon-style Marinated Salmon” colored with beets to match Fauchon’s signature pink, following the recipe from Fauchon Paris.
The afternoon tea is available in two-hour slots from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the daytime segment, while the evening segment allows for start times from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with last orders at 8 p.m. Reservations are required for both. The price is 8,500 yen, including tax and service charges.
For bookings of three or more, a complimentary original macaron charm is offered per guest.
