Daiwa House Realty Management has reopened the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi on July 13 after renovations.
The renovation work, which started on May 7, included replacing the walls, floors, and ceilings of all guest rooms. The ceiling area near the first-floor elevator entrance and the bench sofas were decorated with a “Kyoto・Re MODERN” theme, adding a contemporary touch to traditional Kyoto styles and patterns. A baggage room for temporary luggage storage and counter seats (4 seats) suitable for computer work were newly established in the first-floor lobby.
The guest rooms now have additional USB Type-C ports, and “Deluxe Twin Rooms” and “Wide Deluxe Twin Rooms” are newly equipped with beauty brand “Refa” shower heads and hair dryers. For long-term stays, some rooms have been enhanced with household appliances such as a two-door refrigerator and a microwave.
