Air India Express has launched a virtual interline platform.
Developed in collaboration with Dohop, the platform called ‘AIX Connect’ allows users to search through the official website and display itineraries combining flights from Air India Express and its partner airlines, with the option to purchase tickets.
The first partner is Scoot, enabling bookings for flights from India and the Middle East to 60 destinations across Australia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, recommendation, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. In case of delays or cancellations preventing a connection, an alternative flight is guaranteed.
