Souzousha Opens ‘1HOTEL’ on July 11

Souzousha has opened ‘1HOTEL’ in the old Tokaido Maruko-Juku, Izumigaoka area on July 11.

With the motto “From here, enjoy the Japanese scenery with your beloved dogs,” it’s a hotel where you can stay with your dogs. Equipped with 15 independent rooms that have access from outdoors, it offers Japanese cuisine featuring Shizuoka Oden buffet, local ingredients, and regional dishes. In collaboration with the adjacent ‘Suruga Studio Takumishuku,’ it offers the experience of creating various traditional crafts such as Suruga bamboo crafts, dyeing, woodworking, lacquer, and pottery. While guests participate in these crafts, the hotel provides a service to look after their dogs.

It also has a dog run available for general use, contributing to the tourism of the region and the creation of a pet-friendly satoyama (rural mountain area).
