JR Central Retailing Plus Offers Limited Time ‘Super Cool Shinkansen Ice Cream’ with Extra Dry Ice Online, Plus Inoue’s Frozen Mandarin Oranges for Sale – Store Pickup Available for 3 Days Only

JR Central Retailing Plus is implementing a “Dry Ice Extra Extra Campaign” and selling frozen mandarin oranges online, with in-store pickup available at Tokyo Station.

The “Dry Ice Extra Extra Campaign” offers double the standard amount of dry ice (4 kilograms) for shipping with any purchase of the 6-piece Super Cool Shinkansen Ice Cream set from the JR-PLUS online shop for a limited time. The campaign applies to orders placed and paid for from 10:00 AM on August 23 to 10:00 AM on September 9.

The JR-PLUS online shop will also sell Inoue’s frozen mandarin oranges. Products include a frozen mandarin & Shinkansen Ice Cream (Vanilla) tasting set (4,380 yen) and an 8-bag set of frozen mandarins (3,280 yen), starting from 10:00 AM on August 23.

Furthermore, Tokyo Station will offer store pickups for the “Super Cool Shinkansen Ice Cream”. Examples of products available for pickup include a Vanilla & Melon 6-piece set (2,510 yen), a Vanilla 6-piece set (2,240 yen), and a Vanilla 2-piece set (680 yen). The 2-piece set comes in a cool bag (without dry ice), while the 6-piece set comes in a styrofoam box (with the standard amount of dry ice). Pre-orders must be made online through the “Click! Kiosk” by 9:00 AM on the day of. The pickup location is the Gift Kiosk Tokyo Gift Palette store, available on August 23, 30, and September 6.
