Destination DC Entrusts Marketing Efforts in Japan to Connect Worldwide Japan
Destination DC, the official destination marketing organization for Washington DC, has entrusted its PR and marketing operations in Japan to Connect Worldwide Japan (CWWJ).
By promoting aggressively in the Japanese market, the goal is to attract more Japanese tourists to Washington DC. In 2023, 34,300 people from Japan visited Washington DC, and a 40% increase is expected in 2024, making it the 13th largest international market.
