Japan Airlines (JAL) will reduce flights on the Tokyo/Haneda-Helsinki route starting from October 27.
Currently, the route operates five round trips a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The service on Thursday and Saturday will be discontinued. The flight duration is 13 hours and 15 minutes from Tokyo/Haneda and 13 hours and 50 minutes from Helsinki. Boeing 787-8 aircraft are utilized for this route.
In addition to JAL, Finnair operates one round trip a day on the same route, with both companies engaging in a joint venture. Other European routes, including Tokyo/Haneda to London and Paris, and Tokyo/Narita to Frankfurt, will be maintained as they are.
