Departure is from Ueno Station around 8:10 AM, taking designated seats on the ordinary cars of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Karuizawa Station. Participants will have free time to explore the area. For the return trip, they will again use the designated seats on the ordinary cars of the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Karuizawa Station to Tokyo Station, arriving between 5:20 PM and 6:30 PM. Boarding at Omiya Station on the outward journey and disembarking at Omiya Station and Ueno Station on the return journey are also options.
