Japan Airlines (JAL) will terminate its codeshare agreement with Vistara on October 26.
This is in conjunction with Vistara being absorbed and merged by Air India, which will cease its operations on November 11.
Flights already booked from November 12, 2021, to September 25, 2025, will be transferred to Air India operated flights. There will be no changes to the flight dates or departure and arrival times. Fees for reservation changes or refunds will be waived.
The mileage partnership between the two airlines had already ended on September 30. Use under a JAL flight code is available until October 26, eligible for accumulating miles in the JAL Mileage Bank.
