KKday Supports Reservation at Tabelog Restaurants, Covering Over 42,000 Establishments in Japan
KKDAY JAPAN and Kakaku.com have formed a strategic partnership to support restaurant reservations through “Tabelog” on the travel reservation site “KKday”.
More than 42,000 restaurants across Japan can be reserved, enhancing the dining reservation service for tourists visiting Japan. The search volume for dining experiences on KKday this year has increased by 40% compared to the same period last year. Tabelog notes that yakiniku, sushi, and izakaya are popular among tourists visiting Japan, with about 40% making restaurant reservations on the day of or the day before their visit.
The service supports 17 languages and currencies, allowing travelers to make reservations online in their native language. Upon arrival at the restaurant, showing the electronic ticket completes the transaction.
