Hotel La Teada Iriomote will partially operate in October and then close indefinitely from November due to the inability to fully repair the electrical system damaged by lightning during Typhoon No. 18.
As of October 4, the electrical system and telephones have been restored, but TV services are not available, and excluding the main building, Wi-Fi and in-house fax services are also unavailable. There is no timeline available for the complete restoration.
