Japan Airlines (JAL) will offer the distinguished ‘Mori Izo’ shochu for pre-order on its international flights.
This premium sweet potato shochu, carefully aged over a decade, comes from the Mori Izo Distillery, which boasts a brewing tradition of 130 years. It is offered with a special paper bag at a price of 40,000 yen.
The service is available exclusively for JAL Mileage Bank Diamond and JGC Premier members through a ‘pre-order service.’ The service is available for flights from December 15th, accepting orders from the 25th of the month prior to departure until 72 hours before flight time.
The sale routes are medium to long distance from and to Japan. It is limited to one bottle per person.
